Our Master of Ceremonies will be Mr. Patrick Merry of Merry Cellars Winery!
Pre-register as a contestant here on Eventbrite. $15.00 to enter contest. University or college students with their student I.D. may participate for only $10.00! You may also register the day of the event between 5:30 and 7:30 PM at Rico's in Pullman. Day of event registrations, we will not be able to accept credit or debit cards, cash or check only.
Must be 21 or over. Female and male contestants welcome. This is NOT a beauty contest. Contestants will be judged on attractiveness of actual smile only (lips, teeth, mouth), and on attitude, personality and "shine through." No special attire is required (though pretty sure Pullman's finest would frown on a birthday suit).
Our very own, custom concocted, "Palouse Smile" cocktail will be on special as well as Rico's FANTASTIC Black Bean Burger!
Fantastic prizes will be awarded to the Grand Prize Winner, 1st Runner Up and 2nd Runner Up! Three chances to win! Prizes totaling over $2,500.00 will be given away!

** Other fair, festival and parade appearance opportunites may be presented to the three prize winners over the
course of the year, as well as a photo shoot with a baby for use by Smile At Your Baby! in their various
publications.
*** Please reside within 30 miles of Pullman, WA (or within "The Palouse") and expect to live within 30 miles of Pullman (or within "The Palouse") for at least 6 months following the April 20th event. Possible participation in Lentil Festival Parade and/or other local events.
All ages (21 and over) welcome and encouraged to participate.

Smile At Your Baby!
Smile At Your Baby! is a chariable organization based right here in the heart of The Palouse. We believe in a brighter future for us all through the education of parent/infant bonding and attachment. We advocate empathy, compassion, peace, love and work to prevent numerous social problems and disorders by helping to create healthier and more securely attached infants. Babys and toddlers whose parent bonds with them in a healthy, secure way are so dramatically better prepared for life than children who don't get that. Creating a healthy, happy foundation to then build a life on, dramatically increases a child's chance of success as an adult. Children who have a healthy, secure bond and attachment with at least one parental figure are far less likely to bully, abuse animals, drop out of high school, get pregnant as a teen, abuse substances, get involved in crime or violent behavior, and are unlikely to end up in jail or die an early death.
Parent/infant bonding and attachment is a WIN/WIN for everybody. Happier babies equal healthier families, safer communites and a better world for us all.
